Great Service, only the highest quality and workmanship for 3 Generations!

Als Concrete sign with Bruce and Ben      Al’s Concrete is named after its founder Al Wieser. Al married Malinda Eden on July 28, 1936, and together raised 18 children on the farm      that lies south of the precast plant. To support his wife and children Al had to do something else besides farming. In 1952 Al went to work full time at the West Channel Block Factory in La Crosse, Wisconsin with his brother-in-law Frank Mader. He worked there for six years while still maintaining the family farm. In 1958 Al and Frank decided it was time to do something else so they started their own business known as Wie-Mar Concrete Products. The main products that they produced were septic tanks and dry wells. In the fall of 1964 Al and Frank parted ways. In December of 1964, Al formed Al’s Concrete Products. While still producing septic tanks and dry wells Al started to make some agriculture products such as feed bunks. In 1968 Al bought the franchise for MN to manufacture and install ADL manure pits. Later Al purchased the Atlas Crypt and manufacturing company. In 1973 Al sold Al’s Concrete Products to his son Charlie and the Atlas Crypt and manufacturing company to his son Dick. Al continued to farm and help his sons up until December 31, 1993 when he passed away at age 76.

Charlie along with his wife Joanne continued the business. With help, from some of Charlie’s brothers Ed and Terry Wieser, his sons Bruce and Ben as well as many employees the business has continued to grow over the years. The business started out in a building 30’x 50’. A few years after Charlie purchased the business, he added a truck garage and office. In 1979 he built the new manufacturing plant which is 80’x165’ and in 1999 added another manufacturing bay 40’x170’. In 2012 the front side of the plant was expanded onto after installing new batching equipment and a mixer. The buildings and storage yard sit on about six acres.

Bruce and Ben worked very closely with their dad. Sadly in May of 2015 Charlie passed away suddenly that morning while getting ready for work. Charlie was the 5th oldest of the 18 children and the first one of the siblings to leave this world.
